My Path
Creativity Meets Purpose
Design, for me, is more than what I do—it’s who I am.
Every skill I’ve learned comes from a lifetime of curiosity and creativity.
Creativity has always been a driving force in my life. It began with music—learning instruments, writing songs and lyrics, and performing in countless venues. When computers entered the scene, I found a new outlet for that same creative energy: digital design. In the early ’90s, as a self-taught designer, I quickly discovered that what started as a fascination was becoming a true calling.
I began by designing for friends and churches, often pro bono, honing my skills and building a foundation of trust and craftsmanship. Those early projects led to opportunities in the business world, including a contract with a start-up medical device company that opened the door to exploring a wide range of digital media.
Starting with print, I created everything from logos and branding to brochures, business collateral, posters, presentations, t-shirts, and trade show displays. As technology evolved, so did my curiosity. I ventured into video—producing a surf expedition documentary and later creating marketing shorts for various organizations.
Next came the web. I taught myself HTML and tackled early Flash projects before embracing the elegance of CSS and JavaScript, which transformed both the look and feel of online experiences.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working both independently and alongside large creative teams across diverse industries—medical, entertainment, technology, manufacturing, ranching, nonprofit, hospitality, and more—bringing ideas to life through print, web, and video.
And in a full-circle moment, I’ve reconnected with my first love—music—composing songs, creating custom music beds, background tracks, and jingles for a range of projects.
Every design, for me, begins with listening—understanding your story, your vision, and your goals. I’d be honored to help you bring your ideas to life and make them something you’re proud to share with the world.
